During the floor test of Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren made a strong attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), declaring himself clean. Many allegations were leveled against BJP.
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, arrested in the alleged land scam, on Monday took part in the majority test of the Champai government. While participating in the discussion on the trust vote, former CM Hemant Soren fiercely played the tribal card and strongly attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Soren, who appeared for the floor test with the permission of the court, described his arrest as the dark night of the country’s democracy. Accusing Dalits and tribals of being tortured, the former CM said that Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar also had to change his religion.
Hemant Soren also blamed Raj Bhavan for his arrest. The former CM said, ‘The dark night of January 31, the dark chapter, is connected to the country’s democracy in a new way. For the first time in the country, a Chief Minister was arrested on the night of 31st. I feel that Raj Bhavan is also involved somewhere in carrying out this incident. I am very surprised by the manner in which this incident happened. I come from tribal community. There is a lack of rules and regulations and information. The intellectual capacity is still not at par with that of our opposition. Every human being and animal has the understanding of right and wrong.
Hemant Soren said that preparations for his arrest were going on in a very planned manner. He said, ‘Today somewhere it seems that Baba Bhimrao Saheb’s dream that there should be equality among people of all castes and religions, I feel that the way Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar had to leave his society and adopt Buddhism, There are preparations to do something similar with Dalits and tribals in the times to come. New forms of atrocities were committed against tribals, Dalits, backward classes and minorities. An example of the same was seen on January 31.
Hemant Soren said, ‘I have no regrets that ED has caught me today. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has emerged to save the honor, respect and self-respect of Jharkhand and we will give a befitting reply to anyone who casts an evil eye. He further said, ‘I will not shed tears, I will save tears for time, the tears of tribals, Dalits and backward people have no value for you people.’
