Jharkhand News: A major accident took place today due to wall collapse in Doranda police station area of Ranchi. Two children died in this accident. People angry over the incident blocked the road, disrupting traffic.
Ranchi. A major accident has occurred today due to wall collapse in Doranda police station area of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Two girls died in this accident. People angry over the incident blocked the road, disrupting traffic. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
According to the information received, warehouse construction work was going on in Hinu area of Doranda police station area of Ranchi and right next to it there was an old boundary wall which collapsed during the construction work.
Due to the falling of the boundary wall, two children got trapped in it and both of them died on the spot. A girl was injured, after which angry people blocked the road and started demanding compensation. The father of both the deceased children is a labourer, who was a resident of Gumla district. The deceased include a three and a half year old girl and a two and a half year old girl. The child’s father Shiva Mahali told that he is a resident of Gumla district and he was working at this place for the last few days when this accident happened.
Angry people blocked the road
After the incident, the people of the area became angry and blocked the road. On the matter, Jaiprakash Kumar and Kallu Lohra say that the warehouse is being constructed but the safety measures that should be followed during the construction work were not being used at all. At the same time, he said that compensation should be given to the victim’s family and strict action should be taken against the culprits concerned. It is theirs and they will continue the movement until they get justice.
After the incident, there is tremendous anger among the people and at the same time the common people are having to bear the brunt of this anger. At the same time, the police is trying to convince the people so that the road jam can be cleared. After this incident, the police has started investigating the matter.
