Ranchi. 25 proposals were approved in the Hemant Soren cabinet meeting held on Wednesday. The cabinet took many important decisions, the biggest decision of which is that all women and S/STs of the state will now be given pension from the age of 50 years. 18 lakh people of the state will benefit from this decision. In the cabinet meeting, relaxation of 7 years has been given to those appearing in the next examination of JPSC. Cut off date is 1st August 2017.
Under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, approval has been given to release Rs 208 crore for 19 roads and 12 bridges. The proposal to provide maternal kits to pregnant women has been approved. There will be 14 types of items in the kit. 6 lakh women will benefit from this decision.
Loan up to Rs. 60 lakh to state employees for house construction.
140 middle schools will be upgraded to higher secondary schools. Now all state employees have been allowed to take loans up to Rs 60 lakh for house construction. The provision of mortgage has been removed. Earlier permission of Rs 30 lakh was given for house construction.
