Jharkhand Breaking News! Big decision of Jharkhand High Court in CTET case, CTET candidates will also be able to apply in the appointment process.

Jharkhand : Jharkhand High Court has given a big decision on Wednesday on the PIL filed by Jharkhand CTET Passed Candidates Association. The High Court has given permission to the CTET pass candidates to appear in the examination for the appointment of Assistant Professor on about 26001 posts.

Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has given a big decision on Wednesday on the PIL filed by Jharkhand CTET Passed Candidates Association. The High Court has given permission to CTET passed candidates or candidates who have passed TET exam from the neighboring state of Jharkhand to appear in the examination for the appointment of Assistant Professor on about 26001 posts.

The court said that if these candidates are appointed, they will have to pass the Jharkhand TET (JETT) examination in the first attempt within 3 years. If Jharkhand government does not conduct JET exam in 3 years then this condition will not be applicable on the candidates. Candidates will be given three months time to prepare for the Assistant Professor exam.

The court further said that the government should conduct JET exam every year. The court executed the case. The case was heard in the division bench headed by High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra. During the hearing, the court said that since the state government has not conducted the JET exam in Jharkhand for 8 years. The court said that those candidates who have passed the CTET exam or have passed the TET exam from the neighboring state of Jharkhand can appear in the Assistant Professor exam.

The court further said that if such candidates are selected and appointed, they will have to pass the JETT examination conducted by the Government of Jharkhand in the first attempt within 3 years. Candidates will be given 3 months time to prepare for the Assistant Professor exam. If the state government does not conduct the JET exam within 3 years, no action will be taken against the candidates. In order to pass the court order, Advocate General Rajeev Ranjan took instructions from higher officials and then agreed to the court order.
