Jharkhand: On behalf of the Khunti district administration, these girl students will now be prepared for the JEE Advanced exam at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Kalamati.
Jharkhand News: 10 girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School in Khunti, Jharkhand, have brought laurels to the area by qualifying JEE Main 2023. Actually, due to the efforts of Shashi Ranjan, Deputy Commissioner of IAS and Khunti, the girl students have achieved this success. It may be mentioned that the coaching facility was made available for the meritorious girl students of the school by IAS and Khunti Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan.
In the second phase of the academic session 2021-23, 18 girl students were preparing for engineering and 39 for medical. Out of this, 10 engineering students have cleared the JEE Mains exam, the students who have cleared the exam include Alyssa Hassa, Sohni Bakhala and Angel Zion Topno.
Apart from this, Meri Kandulna, Saraswati Kumari, Suchita Surin, Pushpa Kandulna, Santoshi Kumari, Shruti Kumari and Nisha Kumari have also got success. In fact, on behalf of the Khunti district administration, these girl students are now allowed to appear in the JEE Advanced exam at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Kalamati. Preparation will be done.
Apart from this, efforts will be made to enroll all the girl students in higher educational institutions by providing necessary support in counseling. On the other hand, even if they do not get success in JEE Advanced exam, enrollment of these girl students will be possible in good engineering colleges of the country. Under the Aspirational District Program, it was started keeping in view the bright future of the students of Khunti.
Scheme started for poor children
Under this, special support is being given to the girl students of class 11th and 12th of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Khunti. Online and offline coaching facilities are being provided to girl students for Physics, Chemistry, Life Science and Mathematics. This program has been started for poor, orphan and single parent girl students living in remote rural areas of Khunti.
Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan himself keeps on meeting the students from time to time and motivating them to move forward. Free coaching facility was made available for them by the district administration. The girl students also got necessary support through prestigious coaching institute Career Point, Kota, Rajasthan and Ranchi branch. For this, the district administration bore all the expenses on its own.
