Jharkhand News: Jharkhand Grass Roots Innovation Internship Scheme has been approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Hemant Soren. Under this, students studying in colleges will have to do internship.

Jharkhand Latest News: There is good news for the students of Jharkhand. The Hemant Soren government of the state has approved the Jharkhand Grassroot Innovation Internship Scheme. Under this, the students studying in colleges will have to do internship in the villages, for which they will be given Rs 10,000 in two installments. Under this scheme, 17,380 students studying in college will be given training under internship in the village.

On Tuesday, the Jharkhand Grass Roots Innovation Internship Scheme was approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. After the meeting, Principal Secretary of the Cabinet Department Vandana Dadel said that the state government will conduct internships for grassroot innovation in all panchayats. Interested students of private and state universities and their constituent as well as affiliated colleges will get an opportunity for eight weeks of credit-based internship.

He said that the objective of the internship scheme is to identify innovation and innovators at the grassroots level. To recognize the knowledge and community ownership passed from one generation to another, to identify the problems and needs of the society. Under this scheme, groups of four trainees will be nominated to identify grassroots innovations and local needs in all 4345 panchayats of the state. The training will take place during the eight-week summer vacation period of the academic calendar.

1373 secondary teachers will be reinstated

On the other hand, there will be no new appointments in TGT (graduate trained teacher) and PGT (postgraduate trained teacher) in Jharkhand. Now secondary teachers will be appointed in high and plus two schools. The cabinet has abolished 8900 posts in high and plus two schools.

At the same time, approval was given to create posts for 1373 secondary teachers. Approval was given to abolish 8650 posts out of 9470 vacant posts in high schools and 250 posts out of 797 vacant posts in plus two schools. Also, approval was given to create 1373 posts of secondary assistant teachers in 510 government plus two schools.

Their pay scale will also be lower than that of TGT-PGT. They will get Rs 35,400-1,12,400 in the seventh pay scale level, L-6. A high school TGT teacher gets Rs 14,400 in the seventh pay scale level L-7, while a Plus Two PGT teacher gets Rs 47,600-1,51,100 in the seventh pay scale level-L-8.
