A big accident has happened in Jharkhand. There, a train ran over many passengers between Jamtara and Vidyasagar stations. These passengers had got down from the train due to fear of fire and then another train blew them up.

Big news has come from Jamtara, Jharkhand. Many people were run over by the train between Jamtara and Vidyasagar stations. It is being said that 12 people were hit by the train in this accident. Till now the bodies of 2 people have been recovered. The exact estimate of the number of people who lost their lives due to darkness has not been revealed yet. The rescue operation is also getting delayed due to darkness.

According to the information, Bengaluru-Yesvantpur Express was passing in the down line. Meanwhile, the dust of the ballast dumped on the side of the line was flying, but seeing the dust, the driver suspected that the train was on fire and smoke was coming out.

Due to this, the passengers also got off as soon as the train was stopped, meanwhile many passengers have died after being hit by the EMU train going up.

PM Modi has also expressed grief over the train accident. He said that he was pained to hear the news of the accident in Jamtara, Jharkhand. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I wish that the injured people get well soon.

What did the Railways say on the accident?

Railway’s statement has come on this matter. There has been no mention of any possibility of fire from the Railways side. It was told that train number 12254 was stopped due to pulling of alarm chain. Just then two people came on the track and were crushed by the MEMU train. According to the Railways, there was no incident of fire. Railways says that those killed were not passengers of the train. A committee of three members has been formed to investigate this matter.

Jamtara Deputy Commissioner’s statement has come on the matter. He said, ‘A train ran over passengers at Kalajharia railway station in Jamtara. There are reports of deaths of some people. How many people have lost their lives will be confirmed later. Medical team and ambulance have reached the spot.
