Jharkhand Weather Update: Double attack of cold wave and fog is being seen in Jharkhand. It may remain partly cloudy at some places.

The cold has also affected children’s schools. Orders have been given to close all the schools in the state till 31st December.

All the districts of Jharkhand including the capital Ranchi are in the grip of cold. Now with the change in weather, there is a possibility of some relief from cold in Jharkhand. The effect of western disturbance active in North India can be seen in many parts of Jharkhand. There is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in many districts including Ranchi.

However, there is no forecast of rain anywhere. But movement of clouds may increase the temperature. There may be a slight rise in day and night temperatures. With the weather remaining dry in most of the districts of the state, there will be fog in the morning. Talking about the last 24 hours, the weather in and around Ranchi remained dry, due to which the temperature also remained stable.

Cold wave continues to wreak havoc in Jharkhand. All schools in the state have been closed from 26 to 31 December. These instructions have been given by the administration to protect children from getting affected by cold wave during Christmas and New Year holidays. According to the Meteorological Center of Ranchi, there will be cloudy sky in and around Ranchi on Friday 22nd December, due to which the weather will remain dry.

How was the weather?

On Thursday 21st December, the weather of Ranchi and surrounding areas remained dry. The minimum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 10.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of Garhwa was 6.6 degrees, Chatra was 5.2 degrees and Kanke was 4.2 degrees. Talking about maximum temperature, Ranchi’s maximum temperature was recorded at 21.6 degrees and Chaibasa’s maximum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degrees.

Cold will increase after the clouds clear.

Due to the movement of clouds in the state, changes are also being seen in the weather. The effect of western disturbance active in North India can be seen in many cities of the state. The weather department says that the sky is currently cloudy, which may remain so for the next two to three days. After the clouds disappear, along with the drop in temperature, an increase in cold may also be seen.
