After the political upheaval in Bihar, there has been political turmoil in the neighboring state of Jharkhand too. After being missing for almost 48 hours, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren came to Ranchi but as soon as he was available there, he was arrested by the ED. Meanwhile, a lot of events took place in Jharkhand and Champai Soren has now been made the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
However, Champai Soren was also not called for oath yesterday, Thursday i.e. 1st February. After a long wait, today the Governor administered the oath to two ministers along with him. In this, one is from RJD quota and one is from Congress quota. The opposition is also alleging that when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned, the Governor immediately invited him, but in Jharkhand, after waiting for several hours, Champai Soren was called for oath today i.e. on Friday, February 2. Was.
Game of party change in Jharkhand
After a long struggle, Jharkhand was separated from Bihar and formed. At that time, there was a movement for a separate state in Jharkhand, its demand was that Jharkhand is not developing and Jharkhand remains a colony of Bihar, hence for its development it is necessary to be established as a separate state. However, Jharkhand seems to be moving towards destruction instead of development.
It has been only 24 years since Jharkhand was formed, and in the last 24 years, 11 Chief Ministers have been formed. Champai Soren is the 12th Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Of these, two have gone to jail on Jharkhand corruption charges, the first of which is Madhu Koda and the second is Hemant Soren. Hemant Soren’s father Shibu Soren also had to go to jail for the murder of private secretary Shashinath Jha. There has been a game of party change in Jharkhand, a government is formed and then it falls.
Last time BJP got majority, after which Raghubar Das formed the government and for the first time held the post of Chief Minister in Jharkhand for 5 years. Apart from him, no one has completed his tenure, all of them have had to leave power midway. It seemed that Hemant Soren’s government would run in Jharkhand, but it did not happen, the game of corruption keeps happening in small states.
This is a very unfortunate thing for Jharkhand and in a way it is also a danger because the way the leaders there are involved in corruption and nepotism. In big states these crimes get absorbed somewhere but in small states its impact becomes visible immediately and this is what is happening in Jharkhand.
Knowledge of constitutional rules is necessary
The makers of the Constitution would not have even imagined that a state would remain without a Chief Minister for two to three days. The Governor is at fault somewhere in all these things. However, there was also a legal lapse in it. JMM people have been running the politics of Jharkhand for so many days. But their leaders are not aware of constitutional methods, constitutional rules and regulations.
There is a mixed government running in Jharkhand, but even the Congress people did not pay attention to it. On one hand, Hemant Soren went to the Governor to resign and following him, two other leaders including Champai Soren also reached Raj Bhavan with the desire to become the Chief Minister. JMM elected Champai Soren as the leader of its legislative party, this letter was not with him, it was missing. For this reason the Governor did not call him immediately.
First of all, Hemant Soren’s resignation was taken, then Champai Soren was told to first give the letter of his party and that letter is issued with the signature of the President, currently the President of JMM is Shibu Soren. A letter was issued from the hands of Shibu Soren that Champai Soren was elected leader in the legislature party meeting.
Then the same letter was given in Raj Bhavan. After this, different parties gave their letters of support, only then the government was formed again. This actually shows how desperate the leaders are to come to power that they want to take oath without even following the normal rules and regulations.
BJP wanted to take advantage
BJP wanted to take advantage of the contradictions within the JMM family. The opposition of Shibu Soren’s daughter-in-law Sita Soren has now become public. Everyone knows that she is demanding her share in power. On the other hand, Durga Soren is also unhappy, some other JMM MLAs are also unhappy. In all this, BJP was wanting to get some time in the political corridor, so that the contradictions could increase further and it could do something of its own, but nothing like this has happened. Now the new government has taken oath in Jharkhand.
As far as the opposition’s allegation is that BJP is using the ED and CBI unnecessarily, has the court acquitted all the people who have been arrested or has the court said that all the people who have been arrested are Are you innocent? Has the court ever said that their arrest is illegal, wrongful or that they should be released?
The court has not said so in any case. After the arrest, it is presented in the court, the court looks at the charge sheet, the decision is taken on the basis of how much evidence is there in the letter and what are the allegations. The court has not acquitted any leader.
Sooner or later, others will also be arrested
Lalu Yadav has been convicted, is also serving the punishment, is out on bail, but still he says that he has been implicated. Till date, it has not been seen that any criminal has stood in the court and confessed that yes, he has committed a crime, he is a criminal and he should be punished. Everyone says that he has been framed, that is what today’s politicians are doing.
Lalu Yadav’s case is already going on, for job, land case, fodder scam case, despite all this he could not control himself, when he was the Chief Minister of Bihar and Railway Minister at the Centre, he committed corruption, all the witnesses. Have come forward. This matter has been going on in the court for a long time. In the same sequence, Lalu Yadav was interrogated a few days ago, sooner or later he will also be arrested.
There is strong evidence against Misa Bharti including Tejashwi Yadav, they will go to jail sooner or later. Tejashwi Yadav says that these allegations are from the time when he was a minor, but when the court asks how did Tejashwi come to have so much wealth when he was a child, there is no answer. When this question was asked by ED officials, no answer was given.
Yes, it is true that if any leader opposed to BJP is accused of corruption and he joins BJP, then the action being taken against him slows down. BJP has earlier also taken the help of the corrupt to form the government. People have not forgotten the case of Sukhram, who was the former Telecom Minister. Money was taken out in sacks from his house, but BJP also took his support to form the government.
