There may be six ministers from JMM, four from Congress and one from RJD in the cabinet. CPI(ML) may also get one ministerial post. Many new faces will also be seen in the Soren government.
Preparations to form a new government in Jharkhand have intensified. On Sunday, the constituent parties of the India Alliance, JMM, Congress and RJD held separate meetings. After this, a joint meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence. In this meeting, Hemant Soren was elected the leader of the India Legislative Party. Not only this, the formula of the cabinet has also been almost decided.
How many MLAs from which party will become ministers
The government to be formed under the leadership of Hemant Soren will have six ministers from JMM, including the Chief Minister. There can be four ministers from Congress and one minister from RJD. It is reported that if the CPI(ML) also demands a ministerial post, then the India Alliance can take a positive stand. However, there is no news of any such proposal coming from the CPI(ML) so far.
Five new faces can be seen in Hemant cabinet
At least five new faces can be seen in the new cabinet. If reports are to be believed, Deepak Biruwa, Hafizul Hasan and Ramdas Soren from JMM can become ministers again. From the women’s quota, one of Louis Marandi or Savita Mahato can be made a minister. Among the new faces, the name of Anant Pratap Dev is leading. Apart from this, Ravindra Nath Mahato, Mathura Mahato, Umakant Rajak and Bhushan Tirkey are also in the race.
Suresh Paswan can become minister from RJD quota
Suresh Paswan has been elected as the leader of the legislative party from Lalu Yadav’s party RJD. In such a situation, he is most likely to become a minister. Apart from this, Sanjay Prasad Yadav and Sanjay Kumar Singh are also contenders. If a ministerial post is proposed by the CPI(ML), then Arup Chatterjee can become a minister.
Congress will try to balance divisional and caste equations
Meanwhile, Congress will try to balance divisional and caste equations from its quota. In the previous government, no one was made a minister from North Chotanagpur. It is possible that this time the party will take a decision keeping this in mind.
Irfan Ansari, Deepika Pandey Singh and Pradeep Yadav from Congress, all three have won from the same division. In such a situation, only two of them will be able to become ministers. If Deepika Pandey Singh does not become a minister, then Mamta Devi or Jayamangal Singh from North Chotanagpur can be made a minister.
