Jharkhand Budget 2025-26: The Jharkhand government presented the budget for the financial year 2025-26, in which emphasis was laid on rural development and welfare schemes. Raghuvar Das has presented the budget a maximum of eight times.

Jharkhand Hemant Soren government presented the first budget of its second term (financial year-2025-26) in the House. Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore placed the Abua budget of Jharkhand on the table of the House. In the budget, the government’s focus was on welfare schemes and development of rural areas.

A budget of one lakh forty five thousand four hundred crore rupees has been presented for the financial year. Bringing it closer to the public opinion for 2025-26, the name of Abua budget has been given. The Finance Minister expressed confidence that we will achieve at the speed at which we are going. The Finance Minister said that at present our government is giving priority to those schemes which are absolutely related to public interest.

Provisions of 22 thousand 23 crore 33 lakh 85 thousand rupees have been made for social security. About nine thousand crores have been kept for rural development. A provision of Rs 13 thousand 363 crore 36 lakh has been made for Maiya Samman Yojana. In this scheme, women between 18 and 50 years are given Rs 2500 per month. There is a provision of one thousand, three hundred eighty one crore 99 lakh 39 thousand rupees for the Forest Department.

A budget of 115 crore 19 lakh 37000 is proposed for civil aviation. A budget of 5900 crore 89 lakh 28 thousand rupees has been proposed for the Road Construction Department and a provision of Rs 832 crore for the pension fund to implement the old pension scheme. A budget of 4 thousand 576 crore 30 lakh 73 thousand rupees is proposed for rural works while Rs 1,10,636 crore is proposed for revenue expenditure. A budget of 2 thousand 863 crore 49 lakh 22 thousand rupees is proposed for the Food Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department in the financial year 2025-26.

A budget of 9 thousand 916 crore 94 lakh has been proposed for the Home Prison and Disaster Management Department and 1 thousand 85 crore 74 lakh 46 thousand crore rupees for the Department of Labor Employment Training and Skill Development. The total budget of the Planning and Development Department has been made 91 thousand 741 crore 52 lakh rupees. A budget of 3 thousand 384 crore 45 lakh 97 thousand rupees is proposed for the Scheduled Tribe Scheduled Caste and Minority Backward Class Welfare Department in the financial year 2025-26. It is proposed to build ten flyovers.

The Finance Minister said that the condition of government schools in the state was bad and it is being improved. The Finance Minister also announced the establishment of a total of five new law universities. The Finance Minister raised the issue of the alleged dues of Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand crores with the Central Government. The Finance Minister said that we will take it up. There is a lot of potential in the tourism sector in Jharkhand and development is being done in the tourism sector.

A provision of Rs 336 crore 64 lakh 45 thousand has been made for the Tourism Department. There are many such buildings which will be renovated in the future. He mentioned many schemes including Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana, Marang Gomke Yojana, Mukhyamantri Sahayata Yojana and said that welfare schemes will continue in the future as well.

The Finance Minister said that the economic condition of the state was 1.1 percent ten years ago and now it has become 7.5 percent and the fiscal deficit is being reduced. For better loan management, it has been simplified and the fiscal deficit has come down to 1.1 percent. GSDP and GDP are 13% higher than the previous financial year. More and more expenditure is being made in the welfare scheme. The government’s objective is to free the farmers from debt. Loans up to two lakh rupees of four lakh farmers have been waived. In the financial year 2025-26, we have succeeded in controlling the fiscal deficit by 27.3 percent.

The Finance Minister said, Rs 89 thousand crore has been proposed to the Animal Husbandry Department so that farmers can promote their products. The estimated budget of share in central taxes in the financial year 2025-26 is Rs 47040.22 crore. The estimated budget of the state’s own tax revenue in the financial year 2025-26 is Rs 35200 crore. Birsa Agricultural Insurance Schemes have been started to prevent loss in agricultural produce.

The estimated budget of self tax revenue of the state in the financial year 2025-26 is Rs 35200 crore. The target is to limit the fiscal deficit to 3% in the financial year 2025-26. Under the Abua Housing Scheme, beneficiaries are being given financial assistance of two lakh rupees. New irrigation scheme and revival of old scheme is proposed. Rs 15,198 crore 35 lakh thirty thousand crore is proposed for primary and secondary education.

7 thousand 470 crore 50,86000 has been kept for health. Administrative approval has been given for the construction of new medical college and hospital in Ranchi district. The formation of medical colleges is proposed in Khunti, Giridih, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Deoghar and Jamtara districts on PPP mode.

He presented the budget for the first time in 2005-06 as Finance Minister. He presented the budget for the second time in 2006-07. For the third time in 2010-11, while he holds the record of presenting the budget for a total of eight times by presenting the budget five times in a row between 2015 and 2019.

After this, Dr. Rameshwar Oraon is the second leader who presented the budget five times in a row. The third position is of Mrigendra Pratap. He presented the budget four times in a row.
