Jharkhand Chunav 2024: AJSU gets 10 seats, JDU gets 2 and LJP gets 1… Seat sharing done in Jharkhand NDA

NDA’s seats have been divided for Jharkhand assembly elections. AJSU will contest on 10 seats while JDU has been given 2 seats. Chirag Paswan’s party LJP has been given one seat of Chatra and BJP will contest on the remaining seats.

NDA’s seat sharing for Jharkhand assembly elections has been done. AJSU will contest on 10 seats while JDU has been given 2 seats. Chirag Paswan’s party LJP has been given one seat of Chatra and BJP will contest on the remaining 68 seats.

Union Minister and BJP’s election in-charge for Jharkhand, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said, “In Jharkhand, BJP, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Janata Dal (United) and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) will contest the elections together. An agreement has also been reached on seat sharing and candidates will be announced soon…”

Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand BJP election co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the election will be fought under the leadership of PM Modi. BJP will contest on 68 seats and AJSU has been given 10 seats.

3- Gomia

4- Ichagarh

5- Mandu

6- Jugsaliya

7- Dumri

8- Pakur

9- Lohardaga

10- Manoharpur

JDU on 2 seats

1- Jamshedpur West

2- Tamar

LJP will contest one seat, Chatra.

Voting will be held in two phases

Voting will be held in two phases in Jharkhand and the results will be declared on November 23. In the first phase, voting will be held on 43 seats on November 13 and in the second phase, voting will be held on 38 seats on November 20. After this, counting of votes will be done on November 23. According to the Election Commission, the total number of voters in Jharkhand is 2,55,18,642, in which the number of male voters is 1,29,97,325, while the number of female voters is 1,25,20,910. That is, the participation of women has increased.

How many seats are there in Jharkhand?

Elections are to be held for a total of 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand, which is covered with forests on the Chota Nagpur plateau. The magic number to form a government with an absolute majority in the assembly elections is 42 seats. Talking about the last assembly elections i.e. 2019, JMM emerged as the largest party by winning 30 seats.
