There has been information about the murder of three people in Ormanjhi police station area of Ranchi district. It is being told that three people have been killed in a dispute over grazing pigs. There has been a stir after the incident.
Three people of the same family were murdered on the morning of Rakshabandhan in Ormanjhi block of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The husband and his two wives are among the dead. At around 11 am on Thursday morning, all three were murdered by cutting them with a cloth. The murder took place over a dispute over land and grazing of crops by animals.
After this incident in Tirla village of the block, there has been a stir in the area. Police and administrative officials reached the spot after the incident. After killing Jhaneshwar Bedia, his wife Sarita Devi and second wife Sanju Devi, the accused fled from the spot. However, the police is engaged in the search.
According to the information, 15 days back Jhaneshwar Bedia’s animal had eaten the crop in his Gotia field. There was a dispute between both the families regarding this matter. However, after some time that day both the families became calm. But around 11 am on Thursday, Jhaneshwar was working in the field with his two wives. During this time, his son-in-law was also present nearby.
Within a short time, the dispute started again between the two families. The matter escalated so much that Gotia killed all three by biting them with a cloth and fled from the spot. However, the name of the accused is not yet known. Local police reached the spot after the incident and sent the dead bodies to RIMS, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, the state’s largest government hospital for postmortem.
