Ranchi. The case of theft of a nine-month-old child sleeping on the footpath near Ranchi Railway Station in Jharkhand has been revealed. While Ranchi Police recovered the child safely, they also arrested two women who bought the child along with three accused involved in this gang. The accused arrested by the police have made a shocking revelation and have told that his entire family was involved in this heinous act.
Those caught by Ranchi Police include Amit Sanatan Pal, Radha Sahu and Tikki alias Sunil. All of them belong to the same family. Along with this, Asha organization worker Nudrat Jahan and a woman named Suhana Begum have also been arrested by the police. It was only on Nudrat’s insistence that Amit and his family committed the crime of child theft. At the same time, a woman named Suhana Begum had transferred Rs 58 thousand 500 to Amit’s account.
Actually, this gang used to become active after getting the task and used to carry out the theft of young children. This child was to be sold in Bengaluru, however, the police got wind of this and after that he was caught from Odisha. Giving information about the case, Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said that RPF also gave full cooperation to the police. At the same time, Ranchi Police took the matter seriously and then SIT was formed to investigate this case.
At the same time, the happiness of meeting the child was also seen on the faces of the parents, for which they thanked the police and on the other hand, they also said that if any unknown person gives any food or drink during the journey, then do not take it.
