The much awaited Intercity Vistadome coach arrived at Barkakana railway station in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand at 5 pm. The train was welcomed by Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha and Barka village MLA Amba Prasad together. Both of them showed the green flag and sent the train to Ranchi.

In this series, Railways has gifted the first Vistadome coach in intercity train to Jharkhand.

The train was welcomed by Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha and Barka village MLA Amba Prasad together. Both of them showed the green flag and sent the train to Ranchi. During this time many people were present at Barkakana station.
Fare from Barkakana to Ranchi is only Rs 60
Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha said that one can reach Ranchi from Barkakana with a fare of only ₹ 60. During this time the travelers will enjoy the beautiful valleys. You will feel as if you are traveling in Switzerland and not in Jharkhand. Barkagaon Congress MLA Amba Prasad said that we too were waiting for this train for a long time. The people here will benefit a lot by traveling by this train.
What is Vistadome Coach?
Vistadome is made up of two words – Vista and Dome. Vista means landscape and Dome means dome shaped. Which means seeing picturesque landscapes from a dome-shaped train. Vistadome coaches are mostly deployed to provide panoramic views of the hilly areas. Such trains are equipped with modern facilities. Let us tell you that this Intercity Express will have a Vistadome coach with a transparent roof, which will give a new traveling experience to the passengers.
