Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren has started the air ambulance service. Not only people with money will be able to take advantage of this, but CM has also announced to provide health facilities to the poor who are facing financial shortage.
Jharkhnad News: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday launched the state’s first air ambulance service from Ranchi to other parts of the country. State Civil Aviation Department official told that Soren flagged off the service. For this, an aircraft of Redbird Airways has been taken on lease. Let us tell you that this service will be given at rates between Rs 3-8 lakh for places like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Lucknow and Tirupati. On the other hand, the CM said that this service is an effort to provide timely better treatment to seriously ill people.
The state government is also considering providing service to those people who are unable to pay the rent. The CM further said that the state civil aviation department has set up a cell for air ambulance service, which can be availed through phone calls and emails. He said, the cell has received more than 250 calls inquiring about the service. At the same time, Soren further said that, along with this, the administration is also considering making helipads along the major roads. With this, seriously injured people in accidents can be airlifted by helicopter. He said that very soon the air ambulance service would be started from other districts of the state as well.

CM tweeted the information,
the fare for other destinations will be Rs 1.10 lakh per hour. Soren said that health services are being improved at various levels and motorcycle ambulances are being started in remote areas. Chief Minister Soren said in his tweet that, ‘Today I got the privilege of starting the air ambulance service for the people of Jharkhand from Birsa Munda Airport. This is an effort to provide timely better treatment to seriously ill people. It is not that only those who can pay will be able to use this service, as per the requirement, the government intends to take those who cannot even pay through air ambulance and provide health services.
