Due to this, applications for many government schemes and other schemes will also not be possible.
Most impact on online payment
The biggest impact of the shutdown of internet services in Jharkhand will be on online payment. From shopping malls to tea shops, people make online payments through apps like Google Pay and Phone Pe. They are able to do so only when mobile internet is available. Online payment services will be most affected due to the mobile internet being shut down for almost half the day for two days in Jharkhand. The impact of the shutdown of mobile internet will be on the customer base from petrol pumps to every small and big shop. It has been seen before as well that whenever the mobile internet gets shut down at any place, the customer base decreases.
Impact on online banking
Due to the downtime of mobile internet, traders will not be able to avail online banking services. This is because very few traders use broadband services as fast mobile internet services are available in most parts of the country. Due to the downtime of mobile internet, they will not be able to use online banking services and they will have to go to the bank to get their work done.
Delivery business will also be affected.
Nowadays, the trend of shopping from e-commerce platforms has increased a lot. It has been seen that whenever the mobile internet is shut down anywhere in the country, it also affects the business of those who deliver the goods. People are not able to shop online due to lack of mobile internet and this affects the delivery business a lot.
Will not be able to attend online classes
Online classes are quite popular these days. Most students, especially in villages, use mobile internet to attend online classes. In such a situation, if the mobile internet is shut down, they will face problems and will not be able to attend their classes.
