80 government schools of Jharkhand have been converted into Schools of Excellence, the aim of which is to provide education in government schools like private ones. Here, from class 6 to 12, children of deprived classes, slum children or children of auto drivers or laborers will be able to get education.
Here, like private schools, education is being given absolutely free of cost in smart classrooms. Here, by improving the skills, creativity and personality of children from tribal and poor families, the government wants to prepare them to face the challenges in their career after 12th.

The father of a child drives an auto to run the family. In such a situation, they would hardly be able to bear the expenses of private school. But he is happy to teach children here. The children are also looking full of confidence after studying here.
Jyoti Mandal, an English teacher of one such school of excellence, says that within just 6 months, a lot of change is visible in these children. His confidence has continuously increased. Not only this, their skills and creativity have also increased. Their skills are visible on the boards installed in the corridors of the school. Here some child has written on Chandrayaan 3 and someone has made some art. Till now it was a government school but now it is seen as a school of excellence.
