Actually, five girls had come to collect soil from Budhwaahar pond for Karma Puja. As soon as the girls entered the pond to take out mud, one girl’s foot got stuck in the mud and she started drowning. The other girl who came with him also moved forward to save him and then she also started drowning.
While trying to save the second girl, the third girl also drowned and within no time all five girls got into the water to save each other’s lives. Hearing the screams of the girls, local people came to help. Everyone tried to save the girls but only one girl could be rescued safely. The remaining four girls had died due to drowning in water.
