In a complaint lodged at the Medininagar cyber police station, 51-year-old Manisha Sahay said that the cyber criminal had posed as the manager of the credit card department of a private bank and had cheated the woman on Thursday evening under the pretext of activating her credit card. .

Superintendent of Police Reshma Ramesan said that the accused obtained the ATM PIN from the teacher and within a few minutes withdrew Rs 1.8 lakh from her account. The SP said that the mobile tower location of the accused has been traced and necessary action will be taken.

Cyber ​​crime case also came up in Purnia

Three people have been arrested in a case of cyber fraud in Purnia district of Bihar. Police gave information. Initial investigation has revealed that the three arrested accused have links with Pakistan.

Superintendent of Police Aamir Javed said that these arrests were made from Jalalgarh area during the investigation of cyber fraud case. He said that the arrested people have been identified as Sushil, Shahnawaz and Shakeem, residents of Araria district. The Superintendent of Police said, ‘Initial investigation has revealed that Sushil, Shahnawaz and Shakeem have links with Pakistani handlers. The Nepal route is used by their Pakistani masters to send money to India.
