Jharkhand High Court has ordered registration of FIR against 20 people including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, his political advisor Abhishek Prasad Pintu for illegal mining and its transportation in Sahibganj.

The High Court had ordered in the writ petition 1954/2021 filed by Teerthnath Akash and Anuranjan Ashok that both of them should lodge a complaint in the Juridiction Police Station of Sahibganj. Both were ordered to hand over the evidence related to this case to the police. After this both the petitioners have given applications. Sahibganj Police has also confirmed receipt of the application.
Apart from Hemant Soren, Abhishek Prasad Pintu, Pankaj Mishra, DC Ramniwas Yadav, then SP Anuranjan Kispotta, DFO Manish Tiwari, DMO Vibhuti Kumar, then SDPO Pramod Mishra, Rajendra Dubey, Dahu Yadav, Vishnu Yadav, Pavitar Yadav, Alok Ranjan, Tinkle Bhagat, Bachchu Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Bhagwan Bhagat etc.
It is alleged that at the behest of Hemant Soren, Pintu and Pankaj, government officials got illegal mining and transportation done. A document of more than 200 pages has been handed over as evidence.
ED interrogated DSP Rajendra Dubey
The ED on Monday interrogated DSP Rajendra Dubey for a long time in the illegal mining case in Sahibganj. Rajendra Dubey reached the ED office at 11 am, where he was questioned till late evening.
According to the information, Rajendra’s statement was also taken in the case related to influencing ED’s illegal mining witness Vijay Hansda. On the other hand, ED officials also asked questions related to what action was taken to control it in the areas which come under Rajendra Dubey in Sahibganj.
