Dhanteras Business Of Jharkhand: In Jharkhand, people kept shopping on Dhanteras till late Friday night. If we talk about different sectors, there was bumper sale of everything from land and flats to vehicles including diamond and gold jewellery.
Ranchi. On the occasion of Dhanteras, the entire state including the capital Ranchi has been blessed by Lord Kuber. This year there was 38 percent more business in the real estate sector as compared to last year. This time a total of 163 documents were registered in five registry offices of Ranchi. In which registry of 21 flats is included. Whereas last year only 138 documents were registered. If we talk about real estate business across the state on the occasion of Dhanteras, 657 registrations took place on Friday.
Last year this figure was 452. Most of the documents have been registered in Ranchi only. The government received a revenue of Rs 5 crore from the registry of land, houses and flats across the state, while the government received a revenue of about Rs 3 crore from the registry done in Ranchi alone. However, even on the occasion of Dhanteras, not a single registry was done in some districts of the state. Not a single registry was done in Ramgarh, Godda, Lohardaga, Pakur and Sahibganj of Jharkhand even on the day of Dhanteras.
Dhanteras market in the capital Ranchi was excellent. The bullion market was also excellent. The automobile market also remained fine. Beautiful light weight jewellery, beautiful jewelery and diamond jewelery sold well. Ganesh-Lakshmi idols and silver coins were sold in abundance.
According to Jharkhand Chamber President Kishore Mantri, a business of around Rs 3500 crore has been done on Dhanteras across the state, out of which only Rs 2000 crore has been done in the capital. Business worth Rs 1500 crore has been done directly in the capital while business worth Rs 500 crore has been done online. On Dhanteras, there is a lot of business in big cities of the state like Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Deoghar and Bokaro.
According to the chamber, business worth about Rs 400 crore has been done in Dhanbad, Rs 450 crore in Jamshedpur, Rs 350 crore in Deoghar and Rs 300 crore in Bokaro. If we talk about different sectors, the turnover in automobile sector was around Rs 1000 crores, the business in jewelery and jewelery sector was around Rs 700 crores, the total market of flat sales and property was around Rs 500 crores, the total business of electronics was around Rs 300 crores. Apart from this, the business of crackers, sweets, utensils, decorative items and others was around Rs 1000 crore.
On the day of Dhanteras, the maximum boom was seen in the automobile sector across the capital state. In this sector alone, there has been a turnover of more than Rs 1000 crore while the jewelery market stood at third position. Women across the state bought jewelery extensively on the occasion of Dhanteras. There was a lot of buying and selling of flats and property on this auspicious day.
