A meeting of the State Security Classification Committee was held on Friday regarding what category of security the VIPs of Jharkhand will have. During the meeting, the types of threats against VVIPs and VIPs of Jharkhand were reviewed. In this meeting, the security of 119 people of the state was reviewed. In which names included in security in Z Plus, Z, Y Plus, Y and X categories were brainstormed.

Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Champai Soren, Union Minister and former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, former Chief Minister and Barhet MLA Hemant Soren, current Governor of Odisha and former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das have also been kept in the Z Plus security category. Along with this, the security of BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has been increased to Z category. Chief Justice, Chief Secretary, DGP have also been given Z category security, while former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been given Y category security.
