Geeta Koda is the wife of former Chief Minister of the state Madhu Koda. According to the information, along with him, Madhu Koda had also reached the BJP office to get his wife Geeta Koda included in BJP.
Madhu Koda’s wife Geeta Koda is currently the MP from Chaibasa in West Singhbhum district. Geeta Koda will resign from Congress Party and take membership of BJP from Babulal Marandi. This is being considered a big step of BJP in Jharkhand before the elections. According to information received from sources, Madhu Koda’s wife Geeta Koda is not happy with the alliance made by the Congress party in the state. Sources also say that following the footsteps of Chhattisgarh, BJP is going to announce its candidates ahead of time on the lost seats of Rajmahal and Chaibasa.
In the internal survey of the party, the strongest candidate of BJP from Chaibasa seat may prove to be not a face of the party but Congress MP Geeta, that is why the BJP high command was eyeing Geeta Koda. However, the party has also kept the doors open for Barkunwar Gagrai, JB Tubid and Malti Gilua, so that in case of disappointment from Geeta Koda, bets can be placed on these faces.
In fact, ever since the command of the party has passed into the hands of Babulal, his eyes have been fixed on Santhal and Kolhan, the strongest fort of JMM. He wants to demolish this fort at any cost.
In recent times, inclusion of former MP Shailendra Mahato, who was considered an important face of Kurmi caste in Jharkhand politics, in BJP was also a part of this strategy. After Shailendra Mahato, now the party’s eyes are fixed on Geeta Koda.
