Jharkhand: These people will not get the benefit of job reservation and pension in Jharkhand, Hemant government took a big decision

The issue of Vananchal agitators not getting the benefits of job reservation and pension was raised in Jharkhand assembly. The government clarified that only Jharkhand agitators will get the facilities prescribed by the state. There was a debate between the ruling party and the opposition in the house on not getting the benefits to Vananchal agitators. BJP MLAs demanded to give benefits to Vananchal agitators as well.

People agitating for a separate Vananchal state will not get pension or job reservation or any other benefits.

On Saturday, in the assembly, on the question of BJP MLA Amit Kumar Yadav, the state government clearly said that only Jharkhand agitators will get the benefits of the facilities decided by the state government.

There was a brief altercation between the ruling party and the opposition in the house for not giving benefits to the Vananchal agitators.

In this sequence, Minister in charge Yogendra Prasad said that Jharkhand agitators will get jobs and their dependents will also get horizontal reservation in jobs. But Vananchal agitators will not get any benefit prescribed for Jharkhand agitators.

The BJP MLA said that Jharkhand agitator identification commission, affected by ill will, removed the word Vananchal, due to which Vananchal agitators are not getting pension and other benefits, whereas Vananchal agitators also went to jail for a separate state.

MLA CP Singh, who came out in his support, said that whatever be the name of the separate state movement, the people who fight should get the benefits.

He told that under the leadership of former minister Samaresh Singh, a movement was carried out for Vananchal state by combining Jharkhand along with some areas of Odisha and West Bengal.

The person who was beaten up for Jharkhand will not be found by lighting a lamp and searching.

Minister Sudhivya Kumar also said that rules and standards have been fixed for Jharkhand agitator identification. If a case has been filed against someone in the name of Vananchal movement, then he will not get pension or other benefits.
He also said that even if you search with a lighted lamp among the Vananchal agitators, you will not find anyone who was beaten with lathi or went to jail.

Earlier, JMM MLA Hemlal Murmu said that JMM and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren played the biggest role in the Jharkhand movement.

He raised the question that can the BJP people tell how many of them were beaten with lathi or went to jail? What was their role in separating the state?

Congress MLAs cornered their own government on Nal-Jal Yojana

Congress MLAs cornered their own government on the state government giving wrong figures on the benefit of Nal-Jal Yojana reaching homes.

Congress MLAs Naman Vixal Kongari, Rajesh Kachhap and Bhushan Bada called the state government’s figures completely wrong and said that people are yearning for water and the department is juggling the figures.

Initially, Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Yogendra Prasad denied that the figures were wrong, but under pressure from MLAs, he assured to get the figures investigated.

Earlier, MLA Naman Vixal, through a call for attention, said that the benefit of Nal-Jal Yojana has reached only 50 percent of the houses in his assembly constituency Kolebira.

The minister said that in his assembly constituency, against the target of 63,666 houses, the benefit of the scheme has reached 61,783 houses. The MLA called this figure wrong.

Bhushan Bada also said that in his assembly constituency, it has been said that water will be supplied to 1.20 lakh houses against the target of 1.21 lakh houses, which is wrong.
