Jharkhand Rail Accident: A horrific rail accident took place near Barabambo railway station of Chakradharpur in Jharkhand on Tuesday morning, in which so far 1 person has died. At the same time, 20 people are said to be injured. Meanwhile, the Howrah-Mumbai Mail coming from behind collided with the coaches of the goods train, due to which many passenger coaches also derailed.
After getting information about the accident, the officials immediately reached the spot, where the rescue operation of the people was started. It is being told that this accident happened at 3:45 am on Tuesday morning. SDRF team left for the accident site from Patna. Several coaches of 12810 Howrah-CSMT Mail going from Howrah to Mumbai have derailed in Chakradharpur, Jharkhand. SDRF team has left from Patna for rescue work.
Let us tell you that last Monday, Bihar Sampark Kranti going from Darbhanga to New Delhi also split into two parts. Near Repura Rail Gumti between Karpuri Gram and Khudiram Bose Pusa Railway Station of Samastipur Muzaffarpur Railway section, Bihar Sampark Kranti train got separated from the engine and split into two parts. The engine went ahead for about 100 meters and all the coaches were left behind. After this, somehow the remaining bogies and engine of the train were controlled.
According to the information received, this incident happened due to the breaking of the coupling connecting the engine and bogie of the train. The news of the train splitting into two parts created a stir in the railway department. Many railway officials reached the spot. After this, the defect in the train was rectified and the train was sent to Delhi from Pune at 11:24 am. There was no damage of any kind in this accident. The area where the accident took place comes under Sonpur Railway Division.
