Jharkhand Weather: There will be heavy rain in these districts for 3 days, IMD issues yellow alert

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand told Local 18 that currently, if we talk about synoptic features, the monsoon trough is passing through Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, due to which a good amount of rain is being seen in the districts of Jharkhand.

Monsoon is currently active in Jharkhand and good rainfall is being seen in almost every district. Talking about the capital Ranchi, there has been heavy rain in the last 24 hours, which not only made the weather pleasant but also gave relief to the people from the humid heat. According to the weather centre, the weather is expected to remain like this for the next three days.

Ranchi Meteorological Center meteorologist Abhishek Anand told Local 18 that currently, if we talk about synoptic features, the monsoon trough is passing through Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Due to which a good amount of rain is being seen in the districts of Jharkhand. At the same time, the effect of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal is also being seen in the state. This effect will last for the next three days.

According to the weather center, there will be heavy to heavy rain in these districts, however, from September 15 to 17, light to moderate rain will be seen in almost every district of the state. But there are some districts where heavy to very heavy rains are expected. For example, on September 15, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Lohardaga, Gumla, West Singhbhum, Khunti and Ranchi.

Besides, yellow alert has also been issued for these districts. At the same time, on September 16, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with thunder and lightning in the entire state and on September 17, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain across the state.

Scientist Abhishek Anand said that rain is necessary for farmers.

This rain will prove to be very beneficial especially for the farmer brothers. After planting paddy, this rain was very important for the moisture in the plant and this rain will also recharge the ground level water, due to which people will see less water shortage.
