Jharkhand Weather Update: Heavy rains in Jharkhand, Orange and Yellow alerts issued for different districts

For the last one week, it has been raining heavily in almost all the districts of Jharkhand, due to which the weather has become pleasant. Along with this, the humid condition has also ended. The situation in the capital Ranchi is such that people have to use even quilts at night. According to the Meteorological Center, the same situation will be seen for the next three days.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand of Ranchi Meteorological Center told News 18 Locale that for the last one week almost every district of Jharkhand has been receiving heavy rains. This rain is being seen as the effect of deep cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal. Its effect will remain for the coming three days.

In view of the heavy rains, the Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued an Orange Alert in some districts of Jharkhand for 7 to 8 August. For example, orange alert is issued for Garhwa, Palamu and Chatra for these two days. That is, there is a possibility of heavy to heavy rains here. People need to be a little alert during this time. On the other hand, orange alert is issued in Latehar, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Godda, Sahibganj and Pakur. There is a possibility of heavy rain here.

Along with this, yellow alert has been issued for Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Sahibganj and Pakur for 9 and 10 August. That is, there is a possibility of heavy rain here. At the same time, normal rain is expected in other districts.

Still 38 percent less rain

Scientist Abhishek Anand told that because it has been raining well for the last six days, there has been a slight decrease in the deficiency. Till August 1, the deficiency in rain was up to 47 percent, now it has come down to 38 percent. However, the rain is compensating. But this is not enough, 38 percent deficiency is quite high. In the coming days, we expect that we will see a good amount of rain, due to which this deficiency will further reduce.
