Jharkhand Weather Update: It will rain in Jharkhand till August 4, thunderstorm alert; Monsoon became active like this

Monsoon has been active in Jharkhand due to the low pressure created due to the cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal. Since Monday, it has been raining intermittently in the surrounding districts including the capital Ranchi.

Due to this the weather has become pleasant. Significantly, there was good rain at many places in Kolhan division on Monday. According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, 75 mm of rain has been recorded in Goilkera, 60 mm in Jagannathpur, 58 mm in Maheshpur.

There are clouds in the capital Ranchi

It has been cloudy in the capital Ranchi since Tuesday morning and it is raining intermittently. The Meteorological Department has forecast that there will be heavy rain at some places in the eastern and central parts of Jharkhand. During this, an alert has also been issued for thunderclap.

The possibility of rain has also been expressed in East and West Singhbhum. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for all the districts. It is being said that similar weather will prevail in the state for the next 3 days. In Dhanbad too, the rain has made the weather pleasant. However, this rain is still insufficient for agriculture.

Forecast of rain till August 4

The Meteorological Center (Ranchi) has predicted rain till August 4. During this, a warning of thunder along with thunder has also been issued at many places. It also rained in Sahibganj of Santal Pargana on Monday. On July 31, the district recorded 21 mm of rain.

Still below average rainfall in Jharkhand

Significantly, Jharkhand has still recorded less than average rainfall. The Meteorological Department says that where there should have been more than 455 mm of rain during this period, there has been 48 per cent less rain. Because of this, fields have started drying up in many districts including Gumla.

Cracks have appeared in the fields. Due to lack of water, farmers could not sow paddy. The issue of deficient rainfall also cropped up in the assembly session. The Agriculture Department is also thinking about it. Actually, due to the indifference of monsoon, there was drought in Jharkhand last year also.
