Jharkhand Weather Update: Meteorologist Abhishek Anand told that despite this much rain, 21 districts have received less rain than normal. On the other hand, two districts Sahibganj and Pakur have received more rain than normal and one district Ranchi has received much less rain.
It is raining heavily in almost every district of Jharkhand. In the capital Ranchi too, it rained continuously for the last 24 hours. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, maximum rainfall has occurred in Bhavnathpur of Garhwa. According to the Meteorological Department, this type of weather will continue in Jharkhand and there will be a slight decrease in rain only after the coming 3 days.
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand of Ranchi Meteorological Center told that similar weather will continue in Jharkhand for the next three days. At present, the cyclonic circulation is near the coast of Bangladesh and the monsoon trough is crossing the western part of Jharkhand. Due to the effect of these two, Jharkhand is seeing a lot of rain. However, there is still a deficiency of 37 percent in rains. But due to the rains of the coming three days, this deficiency will further reduce.
Rain less than normal in 21 districts
Scientist Abhishek Anand told that despite so much rain, 21 districts have received less rain than normal. On the other hand, two districts Sahibganj and Pakur have received more rain than normal and one district Ranchi has received much less rain than normal. However, there is some hope of compensating for the rains in the coming days. But the chances of full recovery are slim. Also, Jharkhand should have received at least 581 mm of rain till now, but so far only 367.2 mm of rain has been received.
He further told that in the coming 3 days (August 8-10), almost every district of Jharkhand will see light to moderate rainfall, while heavy rain warning has been issued in some districts like Dumka, Godda, Sahibganj, Pakur and The situation will be normal in other districts.
Apart from this, there is also a possibility of thunderclap in these 3 days. That’s why people are appealed to come out of the house keeping in view the weather and if they are out of the house then in view of slight possibility of thunderclap, take shelter in a safe place immediately, because a little carelessness can lead to life.
