The highest rainfall of 6.0 mm was recorded in Bano-Simdega. The lowest minimum temperature of 24.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Ranchi. At the same time, the highest maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius was recorded in Godda.
Phone explodes due to lightning in Patmda
25-year-old Vijay Kumbhakar, a resident of Jodsa Tola Birkham in Patmda police station area of Jamshedpur, was talking on his mobile phone on Monday evening when suddenly he fell unconscious due to lightning accompanied by rain. His family took him to CHC hospital in Macha, from where he was referred to MGM. BJP leader Vimal Baitha, who came to help him, started his treatment in the hospital. According to local people, Vijay was talking on the phone when the incident happened. The mobile phone exploded in front of his ear due to lightning and he fell unconscious. However, nothing happened to his mother sitting next to him. This sudden incident created chaos in the house. On getting information about the incident, a crowd of people gathered.
