Through Madhya Pradesh’s famous scheme ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’, CM Shivraj Singh announced that cylinders will be available for Rs 450 in Sawan in the state.
This year, on 31 and 30 August, the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated across the country. Before Rakhi, CM Shivraj Singh has announced to increase the amount they get every month to 1250 rupees to make the women of the state happy. Earlier, women were given Rs 1,000 under ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’, but this amount has been increased to Rs 250 only for this month. This benefit will be available only to those women who are registered in Ladli Bahna Yojana.
In the Ladli Bahna Sammelan, CM Shivraj also talked about drug prevention in the state. Keeping women at the center of his speech, Shivraj Singh said that no liquor vend will be opened where women do not want to. Along with this, Shivraj Singh advocated the reservation of women. He said that women’s reservation is increased to 35 percent in about 30 percent seats in the state police department.
Along with this, there has been talk of increasing the reservation of women in teacher recruitment to 50 percent. Along with this, the CM said that whatever government recruitment will be done in the state, the share of women in it will be 35 percent. The government has said to pay the school fees of the girl children of the women taking advantage of the Ladli Bahna Yojana from their own pocket. Because of this, there will be no hindrance in the education of daughters.
CM Shivraj said that those poor sisters who do not have land will be given free plots in the village. Along with this, the lands vacated from the mafia will be given in the name of poor sisters. The CM said that those whose electricity bills had increased in the month of September, their increased bills have been reduced to zero. At the same time, there is a preparation to keep the bill of poor women up to 100 rupees.
Congress, which is looking for a way to enter power in Madhya Pradesh, is also making tall promises to counter Shivraj Singh’s plans. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath mentioned the Nari Samman Yojana and said that under this scheme women will be given financial assistance of about Rs 1500 per month. At the same time, everyone will be given a cylinder for Rs 500 without any discrimination.
