The price of commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 14.50 from January 1, 2025. This relief has been implemented across the country, while there is no change in the prices of domestic cylinders.
The beginning of the new year 2025 has brought a good news for the consumers of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). The price of commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 14.50. According to the data released by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), this relief will be available across the country. However, there is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder.
New LPG cylinder prices from Delhi to Patna
The price of 19 kg Indane commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has now gone up to Rs 1804, which was earlier Rs 1818.50. Similarly, in Kolkata this cylinder has come down from Rs 1911 to Rs 1966. In Mumbai, with a drop of Rs 16, this cylinder will be available for Rs 1756. In Patna, this cylinder will now be available for Rs 2057 instead of Rs 2072.50.
Domestic LPG cylinder prices remain stable
There is no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders for consumers. The 14 kg cylinder remains stable at Rs 803 in Delhi, while it remains at Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
A glimpse of the change in commercial LPG cylinder prices in 2024
The price of commercial LPG cylinders witnessed several fluctuations during the year 2024. Starting from Rs 1755.50 in January 2024, the price reached Rs 1818.50 in December. This shows that the global and local markets impacted the cylinder prices throughout the year.
