Maiya Samman Scheme News: Jharkhand’s Hemant Soren government is going to give a great gift to the people on the occasion of New Year. Hemant government will now send an increased amount of Rs 2500 under the Maiya Samman Yojana as a Christmas and New Year gift to the women of the state. Hemant Soren had announced Rs 2550 instead of Rs 1000 during the recent assembly elections. Under the Maiya Samman Yojana, the amount will be sent only to the accounts of the women of the state.
According to the information, the amount of Maiya Samman Yojana has been allocated to all the districts. District officials have been instructed to organize grand events at the district level. To make this occasion special, a grand event will be organized in the capital Ranchi. The Women and Child Development Department is running all the necessary process to transfer this amount to the accounts of women. This amount will start reaching the accounts of women immediately after Christmas.
Information will be sent to mobile number
Information about the amount reaching the account of women will be sent to their mobile number. For this, the state government has also bought a pack of 1.5 crore bulk SMS. The state government had instructed all its ministers to be present in the program to be held at the district level. It is worth noting that this amount of Rs 6400 crore is to be allocated to the accounts of 53 lakh 64 thousand women. Remember that the previous government of Hemant government had started this scheme on the occasion of Rakhi in the month of August, the amount of which has been increased to Rs 2500 in this government.
Mainiya Samman Yojana proved to be a super hit in the elections
It is believed that Mainiya Samman Yojana has a big hand in keeping the Hemant government in power, because the number of women voters in Jharkhand is very high. In such a situation, this amount going directly to their account creates a different sympathy towards the government. The Hemant government has got the benefit of this in the elections, on the basis of which the All India Alliance under the leadership of Hemant Soren retained power by winning 56 seats in the 81-seat assembly.
