Chief Minister Hemant Soren said in the closing address of the monsoon session of the Vidhansabha on Friday that the recruitment process for 40 to 50 thousand posts has increased in the state. He guarantees that only and only Jharkhandis will be given employment and self-employment. The outsiders who are coming in the appointment will be stopped.
The CM said that last year the rights of the Gram Sabha were taken away in the Forest Conservation Rules and then in the Lok Sabha, the Center made such amendments in the Forest Conservation Act that in future the tribals would be deprived of their forests. But they neither allowed last year’s rules to be implemented here nor will they implement the changes made now.
The CM said that thousands of houses were burnt in Manipur, hundreds were killed, but the government has filed a case in name only. That too after the rebuke of the Supreme Court. He said that tribals are being oppressed in Manipur and the government there has remained a mute spectator. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is going to constitute the Displacement Commission, SC and ST Commission soon.
