New Education Policy: Semester in 12th! Board exam in two parts… Know what changes will happen under the new education policy

CBSE will also add 20 percent MCQ based questions in the question papers for classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 from the academic session 2023 to 24. The Ministry of Education has now sought feedback from various stakeholders specifying the phase of school education, curriculum area, school administration, evaluation, etc.

The Ministry of Education says that the aim of the National Education

Policy 2020 is to change the entire education system including school education and higher education in India. Schooling serves as the foundation stone of a child’s life. The focus in NEP 2020 is on good cultural foundation, equity and inclusion, multilingualism, experiential learning, reducing the burden of subject matter, integration of arts and sports etc. in the curriculum.

Education Ministry says that while giving its response, it should be kept in mind that this is the pre-draft NCF-SE, which is still undergoing several rounds of discussion within the National Steering Committee Needed.
