New rates of petrol and diesel released, Biharis shocked as it became cheaper in UP

There is a decline in the retail prices of petrol and diesel released by government oil companies on Friday morning. Today, oil prices have come down in many cities of the country, while in some places its prices are rising.

The effect of falling crude oil prices in the global market is also visible in the retail market and petrol and diesel prices have fallen in many places including UP. However, there has been no change in oil prices in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai even today.

According to government oil companies, petrol has become cheaper by 39 paise in Ghaziabad district of UP and is being sold at Rs 94.50 per liter. Diesel has also fallen by 45 paise and has reached Rs 87.58 per liter.

In Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol has increased by 35 paise to Rs 105.58 and diesel has increased by 33 paise to Rs 92.42 per liter. In Haryana’s capital Gurugram, petrol price fell by 24 paise to Rs 94.87 per liter, while diesel fell by 24 paise to Rs 87.73 per liter.

Talking about crude oil, its prices have also seen a slight decline in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has risen to $ 74.31 per barrel. The rate of WTI has also increased to $ 70.60 per barrel.

Petrol and diesel prices in the four metros

  • – Petrol in Delhi is Rs 94.72 and diesel is Rs 87.62 per liter
  • – Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 103.44 and diesel is Rs 89.97 per liter
  • – Petrol in Chennai is Rs 100.76 and diesel is Rs 92.35 per liter
  • – Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 104.95 and diesel is Rs 91.76 per liter

Rates have changed in these cities

  • – In Ghaziabad, petrol has become Rs 94.50 and diesel Rs 87.58 per liter.
  • – In Patna, petrol has become Rs 105.58 and diesel Rs 92.42 per liter.
  • – In Gurugram, petrol has become Rs 94.87 and diesel Rs 87.73 per liter.

New rates are released every morning at 6 am. The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
