At the same time, recently Banaras has become the first city from where Vande Bharat has started both in the morning and evening. Banaras is also special because the country’s first Vande Bharat train started from here.

According to the Railway Ministry, the routes of six Vande Bharat Express have almost been decided. These include Delhi to Katra, Delhi to Ayodhya via Lucknow, Delhi to Chandigarh, Bengaluru to Coimbatore, Mangalore to Goa Vande Bharat. It is expected that the Prime Minister will flag off all the Vande Bharat Express from Ayodhya on 30th December. Vande Bharat will be available for common people to travel from the new year.
Katra will become the second city from where two Vande Bharat trains each will run
After Banaras, Katra will become the second city from where two Vande Bharat trains will run each. From here one train will run in the morning and the other in the evening. After Banaras, the second Vande Bharat Express ran between Katra in Delhi. According to the Railway Ministry, most of the big cities will be connected by Vande Bharat Express. So that passengers can enjoy convenient travel.
