Old Pension Scheme 2023: Before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, discussions have once again intensified in the country regarding the restoration of the old pension scheme. Pension Shankhnaad rally will be taken out in New Delhi on October 1, in which lakhs of teachers and employees will participate. The same electrical workers will also protest vigorously.

In fact, on October 1, the employee pensioners organization associated with Ateva and National Movement for Old Pension Scheme (NMOPS) are going to protest at Ramleel Maidan in Delhi. Lakhs of employee pensioners from various departments across the country will participate in it. Employees and officials of the electricity department from all the states are also going to participate in it.
The department encouraged all the employees to make the rally a success by participating in the Pension Shankhnaad Rally organized in Delhi under the banner of NMOPS on October 1. NPS Employees Union says that lakhs of employees from different states will gather in the country’s capital Delhi on October 1 and Will raise the demand for restoration of old pension across the country.
When implemented in 5 states then why not in the entire country – NMOPS
NMOPS National President Vijay Kumar Bandhu says that the issue of restoration of ‘old pension’ has now become a question of life and death. Preparations for this rally have been going on for a year. After visiting various states, he has appealed to the government employees to reach Delhi. In many states, government employee organizations have raised the demand for OPS in their own ways.

It is claimed that more than 20 lakh central and state government employees from across the country will reach Ramlila Maidan in Delhi and this will be the biggest rally till date. Government employees have booked their seats in the train to reach the huge rally.
