PM Kisan 17th installment released: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to the beneficiary farmers in Varanasi during his one-day visit

PM Kisan 17th installment released: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to beneficiary farmers in Varanasi during his one-day visit. This scheme was launched in February 2019.

The Government of India had launched a new Central Sector Scheme, ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)’ to augment the income of small and marginal farmers (SMFs).

Under this scheme, a direct payment of Rs 6000 per year is made in the bank accounts of eligible landholder families in three equal installments of Rs 2000 every four months. PM Kisan is a central sector scheme which is 100% funded by the Government of India.

This amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The last 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released on February 28, 2024.

How to check PM Kisan beneficiary status online

Step 1: Visit the official PM Kisan website.

Step 2: Reach the Beneficiary Status page.

Step 3: Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’.

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number or account number.

Step 5: Click on ‘Get Data’.

Step 6: View beneficiary status.

Step 7: Check payment status.

When the system processes your request and checks the PM Kisan database for your details, your beneficiary status will appear on the screen.

Reasons for not getting PM Kisan installment

  • Duplicate name of the beneficiary
  • KYC not completed
  • Wrong IFSC code while filling the application form
  • Bank account closed or other

Beneficiaries’ Aadhar card not linked to the bank account and some other such reasons do not give money under PM installment.

You can register a complaint from Monday to Friday. You can also register your complaints by sending an email.
