Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana)
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided to farmers every year. This amount is received by the farmers in three installments in a year. The amount of each installment goes to the farmers’ bank account through online DBT. Farmers can fulfill their agriculture related needs with this financial help.
How to apply online under PM Kisan Yojana?
- The applicant has to first click on the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
- After clicking, the home page of the website will open on your screen.
- In this, you will see an option of New Farmer Registration in the Farmer Corner, click on it.
- As soon as you click, you will come to a new page, in which you have to carefully enter your name, mobile number and state etc.
- Now you have to enter the captcha code and click on the send OTP option.
- As soon as the OTP comes, you have to enter it and click on submit.
- Now you will be asked if you want to register, then you have to click on the option of Yes.
- After clicking, the registration form will open in which you have to carefully enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, state selection, district, block, village name, bank information and land information.
- After this, you have to scan and upload the requested documents such as land records, Aadhaar card, bank passbook. Below you will see the submit button, click on it.
- As soon as you submit, your PM Kisan Yojana gets successfully registered.
Eligibility for application
- Only economically weak and small and marginal farmers can avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana, they must have 2 hectares of land.
- Only those farmers who have agricultural land available will be able to apply in the scheme.
- Farmers who are income tax payers, government employees or pensioners will not get the benefit of the scheme.
- It is necessary for the farmer to have his Aadhar card and bank account number.
