The Modi government at the Center runs the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana i.e. PM Kisan Yojana with the aim of providing financial help to the farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance to farmers every year. Modi government deposits six thousand rupees into the accounts of farmers every year.
This amount is given to farmers in three installments at an interval of every four months. Till now 15 installments have been given to the farmers and they are waiting for the 16th installment. If we talk about Maharashtra, the farmers here are getting six thousand rupees annually under PM Kisan Yojana like before. Besides, farmers are also availing the benefits of Namo Shetkari Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme also, farmers are getting six thousand rupees. Overall, farmers in Maharashtra are being given financial assistance of Rs 12 thousand annually.
Know who gets the benefit of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Scheme
- -To avail the benefits of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, the beneficiary must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state.
- -Farmers should have their own land.
- -The applicant farmer must be registered with the Agriculture Department of Maharashtra.
- -Apart from this, it is necessary for the applicant farmer to have a bank account which should be linked to the Aadhar card.
Farmers of Madhya Pradesh also get double benefit
Now if we talk about Madhya Pradesh, apart from PM Kisan Yojana, farmers here are also being given Rs 4,000 under Farmer Welfare Scheme. However, Shivraj Singh Chauhan had announced before the elections to increase this amount from Rs 4 thousand to Rs 6 thousand. From the next installment, farmers can get six thousand rupees instead of four. Overall, farmers of Madhya Pradesh are also given financial assistance of Rs 12 thousand by the government.
