From today, if you check ATM without balance or do not withdraw money from your ATM, then you will have to pay extra charge for it. The bank itself has given this information on its official website. Along with this, the bank is also giving this information to its customers through messages.
Let us tell you, according to the rules, it is necessary for you to maintain minimum balance in the account. If you do not do this, banks deduct penalty charges from your account. Let us tell you how much the bank is charging on failed transactions.
This much will be charged-
Punjab National Bank will charge Rs 10 along with GST on failed transactions. That is, if the minimum balance is not maintained in your account and you insert the card in the ATM to check the balance, then you will have to pay a penalty charge of Rs 10 along with GST. At the same time, if there is minimum balance in your account but due to some technical problem you could not withdraw the money and the transaction has failed, then you can complain about the penalty.
If you complain about a failed transaction in the bank, the bank will return your money within 3 to 7 days of receiving the complaint. At the same time, if your money is not returned within 30 days, the bank will give you a compensation of Rs 100 per day.
