Ranchi News: Jharkhand Police has achieved great success against the banned CPI Maoist Naxalites. Regional commander Naveen alias Sarvjit Yadav alias Vijay Yadav, who had become synonymous with terror in Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh, carrying a reward of Rs 15 lakh, surrendered before Chatra police.

The surrender program was organized at Chatra Police Line, in which Deputy Commissioner Abu Imran, SP Rakesh Ranjan and CRPF 190 Battalion Commandant Manoj Kumar were present.

SP Rakesh Ranjan told that Sarvjeet’s terror was in different areas of Chhattisgarh including Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra and Budha Pahad of Latehar in Jharkhand. More than 6 dozen cases including murder, arson, robbery, possession of illegal weapons are registered in other states including Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. He told that Sarvjeet surrendered after being influenced by the surrender policy of Jharkhand Police.

He said that with the surrender of Sarvjeet, the backbone of CPI Maoist Naxalites has been broken. He also called upon other Naxalites to secure their lives by taking advantage of the surrender policy. DC Abu Imran along with Chatra Police and CRPF also congratulated Sarvjeet Yadav. CRPF Commandant Manoj Kumar said that it is the result of the campaign being conducted against Naxalites that today Chatra has become almost Naxal free.

He also enumerated many achievements of Chatra Police and CRPF. Let us tell you that Maoist regional commander Sarvjeet Yadav is a resident of Basbuta village of Pratappur police station area of ​​Chatra district.

The surrendered Naxalite is being shifted to open jail. Apart from Sarvjeet’s wife, DSP Headquarters Kedar Nath Ram, SDPO Avinash Kumar, Ashok Priyadarshi, Trainee DSP Wasim Raza, Major Vikas Kumar and other officers and station in-charge were present on the occasion.
