Deficiency revealed in the investigation of ration
Officials associated with this process say that the ration provided by the central and state government passes through the eyes of different officers. The quality of the ration reaching the ration shops from the government is better. When the ration available at these shops was investigated under the Food Security Act, it was found that the items were adulterated by the shopkeepers.
26934 ration samples were taken from UP
According to the central government, maximum 26934 ration samples were taken from UP. In these, more than 13 thousand samples were found failed. In the information given by the UP government, it was told that 118 such people were fined and sent to jail. On the second number, 19858 samples were taken from Tamil Nadu, where 1033 samples failed. 16022 samples were taken in Rajasthan, 800 samples failed here.
15355 samples were taken in Madhya Pradesh and 13118 in Maharashtra. Officials told that the ration received from the center is distributed by the state government. The state government keeps on taking samples from time to time so that people get good ration. If the results of these samples are not satisfactory, action is taken against the accused.
