NHAI FASTag Update: NHAI has said that FASTag users can reach the nearest toll plaza or contact the toll-free customer care number of their respective issuing banks and get the KYC done.
NHAI FASTag Update: If you have a car and you have FASTag and there is sufficient balance in it, then you should check whether your KYC is complete or not? If you have not done KYC, then NHAI has told that the bank will close the FASTags which do not have KYC on 31st January.
NHAI has said that users will have to complete KYC for Fastag as per RBI guidelines. NHAI said on Monday that balance is complete, but if KYC is not done, Fastag will be deactivated by banks after January 31, 2024. To avoid any inconvenience, NHAI stressed that users must ensure to complete KYC for their vehicle’s Fastag.
According to a report by news agency PTI, NHAI wants to increase the efficiency of the electronic toll collection system and provide non-stop movement at toll plazas through one vehicle, one Fastag initiative. According to NHAI, this initiative has been created to prevent misuse of the same Fastag for multiple vehicles.
