Kurmi society is doing agitation
The people of Kurmi community have been agitating for a long time for the demand of tribal status, but no initiative has been taken in this direction. Therefore, it was decided to organize a big movement on behalf of the Kurmi community. In this sequence, Kurmi Samaj has come down on the railway track. People of Kurmi community are protesting in large numbers at Kharagpur Junction in West Bengal, Khemasuli station of Tata Railway route and Kustor Kus station of Adra Chandil Railway route of Adra Railway Division.
Decision on security
People of Kurmi community are protesting on the railway track at different places. In such a situation, the railway passengers do not face any kind of difficulty and the passengers can travel safely. In this context, trains running through all the three railway divisions, Dhanbad, Kharagpur and Adra, which may be affected by the Kurmi movement, have been canceled and some have been diverted.
