Bihar Raid: Treasure has been found in the house of a ‘rich’ officer in Bettiah, Bihar. The team of the Vigilance Department had gone to raid in the alleged case of disproportionate assets. During this, the senses were blown away after seeing the notes found in the house. You can guess that a machine had to be brought to count the notes found in the raid. The raid is going on since morning under the leadership of the Vigilance team of Patna, police is deployed on the spot.
According to initial information, the Vigilance team raided several places of District Education Officer Rajnikant Praveen in Bettiah, in which movable and immovable properties have been found. Notes were allegedly found inside the bed during the raid. Two beds were filled with 500-500 notes. In the pictures, officials were seen carrying a note counting machine inside the house.

Officer built assets worth Rs 1.87 crore
The raid is said to be an investigation into possible corruption. According to ANI, vigilance officials have confirmed that Rajnikant Praveen, who is currently posted as District Education Officer, Bettiah, illegally acquired huge movable and immovable assets worth about Rs 1.87 crore under a criminal conspiracy during the period from 2005 till date, which is more than his legitimate source of income. The vigilance team is currently investigating the source of the huge amount recovered. During this, family members have been detained.
