This post released an update on the latest developments for YouTube TV, highlighting several updates. According to the post, the multiview feature is now available for YouTube TV subscribers, with improvements set to come ahead of the NFL (National Football League) season.
Along with this, the company has also confirmed changes in transcoding. Accordingly, the bitrate is now being increased for 1080p content. Giving information, the Google-owned company said that YouTube is testing transcoding changes including bitrate increase for live 1080p content over the next few weeks. Through this feature, those devices will be targeted which support VP9 codec with high-speed internet connection.
According to the officials, if the testing is successful then it will be rolled out permanently for all the users. Apart from this, the company is also going to make a big update in its App Store. Through this update, the crash problem on the first generation Apple TV 4000 units will be eliminated.
